This involves connecting a standard motion sensor to the DALI driver. By utilizing this sensor in conjunction with the DALI driver, you can control an individual luminaire or an entire lighting system. When a person enters the room, the light intensity increases. Once the person leaves, the motion sensor will deactivate after a specified delay, and the light intensity will automatically decrease.

  1. Ramp-up time: Starts when a person is detected, after which the light intensity increases to the presence level (default value is 0.7 seconds to reach 100%).
  2. Triggering time: Starts when no person is detected (default value is 120 seconds). If a person is detected again during the start-up period, the decrease time resets. If no presence is detected, the decrease time will start.
  3. Decrease time: The duration over which the light intensity gradually reduces from the presence level to the absence level (default value is 32 seconds from 100% to 10%).
  4. Shutdown delay: The duration for which the light remains at the absence level. Depending on the chosen profile, the shutdown delay can vary or be set to never turn off.
  5. Absence value: The light intensity level when no person is detected (default value is 10%).
  6. Presence value: The luminosity level when people are detected (default value is 100%).
